Human Rights poets and activists, Larry Jaffe and Stazja McFadyen have
started Poets for Human Rights. Jaffe is the founder of Poets for Peace and
the International Readings Coordinator for the United Nations Dialogue among
Civilizations through Poetry. He previously held the position of Poet/Host
in Residence of the Autry Museum of Western Heritage.
The purpose of P4HR is to remove the veil obscuring human rights violations
on this planet, and brightly shine the light of truth on the perpetrators
for the world to see. It is the nature of poets to lead the way for humanity
and we will break the bonds of slavery and abuse wherever they may be with
our observations and poignant words.
